The Results

Good day, everyone. It's Don, here. I'm sorry I could not get back to you as soon as I could have. I was in a mood for going out and I didn't want to be cooped up at my house. Unfortunately, that meant no blog writing time. I will be sure to make up for that now.

Okay, so about the last time Chuckie and I got together, we did not really do much. All of our plans fell through. We did not watch "Look Who's Talking Too" and "Look Who's Talking Now," and we did not even get any recording done. We meant to, believe me, but we got caught up in listening to new bands on MySpace, such as Hey Ocean! ( http://www.myspace.com/heyocean ) and The Academy Is... ( http://www.myspace.com/theacademyis ). Those bands are great! Particularly Hey Ocean! I would really like a CD of their's.

Anyway, back to H.I. We got hold of a digital camera and we started taking pictures that we are still lacking for our third album. We got dressed up and tried our hand at it, but we failed. We could not think up of any photos to take. We were simply just not inspired.

Since our photo shoot fell through, we decided to make a music video for "Putting Down The Amp." We have a few shots taken, though it is not all that spectacular and I think that we will have to do it again. I think it would be great if we could get another music video out. Our last one for "Emotic Robotic," is terrible! It is funny, but it is quite revolting. Beware of the video.

Oh, on a happy note, though, Chuckie and I have the name for our fourth album picked out. It shall be called, "H.I. Society." It is going to be great. Our songs are coming together, inspite of our efforts a few nights ago. I am also thinking of writing another song. Something that a friend of mine has said on Facebook is making me want to write something. I already have a name in mind, though I shall keep that as a secret for now. We can't be letting you know everything now can we? :P

Anyway, I am going to go now. I am hungry for my vegetable soup. I shall talk to you all later!

Take care!

The cats name was Mr. Boots

Okay, so this is the first time I [Chuckie] am actually writing on this blog and already I spelt my name wrong 3 times. Its probably because Don is sitting behind me and mocking my retarded spelling/grammar errors because I am special and hate both of those things. Right now hes correcting me again [Don: his English is erroneous]. Its really not my fault I suck at this whole typing thing!

So this meeting is going well (Except for the fact that there is no MUSIC BEING MADE!) Don.... Anwyays we have decided to take more photographs for our site and things like our super cool myspace page!

So go there. Now!
STOP WASTING TIME!

Anyway enough of this random chatter and SPELLING/GRAMMAR lesson from Don, we are off to make sensuous music! (Sensous means sexy instead of sensual meaning the senses, I learn things)
P.S. this whole "title this blog with a cats name" thing will be settled soon, so STAY tuned. TOONED!!!!!

Back Together Again

Good morning everybody! Or in the case of countries elsewhere, good afternoon and evening! I [Don] hope you are having a great one! :D I know I am. I am just sitting here, drinking a tall glass of some fine water, chatting up (Don't worry, Don's just really strange and does not mean he is flirting with her) a cousin of mine from Sweden on facebook, and waiting for 1:00pm for when Chuckie and I will be getting together again.

We plan on watching the movies, "Look Who's Talking Too" and "Look Who's Talking Now." Then we will be getting H.I. That is, we will be making some muuuuusic! It shall be a spectacular time! I am quite thrilled about it! :)

I have been writing again, of course, and I have come up with another "deep" song. It's called "A Mug of Water." I am going to show it to Chuckie today to see what he thinks. That and that other song I wrote a little while ago - "Five Thousand Miles." If he approves, we'll already have five songs ready for our fourth album. The first song that was made for it was written a long time ago. It was orginially written for album three. It is in the list of songs that we have made a few posts below. It's a starred one ;)

Anyway, I shall be off now. I shall let you all know how our recording goes later. Have a great day, everyone! Until then...

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone! We hope you are all having a wonderful day. It has been a great one for me (Don). As for Chuckie, I am not sure. I think he is working right now, unfortunately. I am sure he is enjoying himself, though. He seems to like his job.

Anyway, H.I. has not gotten together for a little while now, though we have been working individually on projects. I have written a new song called, "Five Thousand Miles." Whether it is going to be recorded for Horrid Incidences' fourth album depends on what Chuckie thinks of it. Chuckie has also been composing some new music. He has made a wonderful acoustic one that is just simply beautiful! We are hoping to use that one for one of our songs. It will most likely be a more touchy-feely one. More serious I would think.

Lately, that is what H.I.'s songs seems to be. More serious. There seems to be an ACTUAL message behind each of our songs and some actually good writing and better music. Practice certainly makes perfect. Even for us, haha! I am looking forward to H.I.'s next meeting. I want to see if Chuckie likes "Five Thousand Miles." I like it and it would be awesome if we made it into a song. Plus, I really want to record for that one song that Chuckie composed - the beautiful one. It is just so gorgeous sounding it is crazy!

Well, that is all for now. Talk with you all soon!

HAPPY EASTER! :D

And so, it comes along.

Hey guys! It has been a little while since I (Don) have last written you guys. I hope you all are doing well. I know H.I. is. Chuckie and I got together last night and we finished recording the song that I wrote to you previously. As you would know if you read the last post, it is called "The Situation Room." It runs four minutes and one second. It is is pretty swell. I rather enjoy the musical arrangement and the lyrics. It is a lot deeper than our past work. Our prior music is very random and out there, but this song is quite down to earth and is very thought provoking. I cannot wait for you all to hear it! Don't worry, though. It is not too serious. It still has it's Horrid Incidences quality. We can't get too good, haha :P No, but as time rolls by, we may. At least that would be pretty cool. Making music is so much fun.

Anyway, after Chuckie and I finished "The Situation Room," Chuckie immediately started working on a new composition and I on some new lyrics. Within an hour, we conjured up a pretty good song. It is called, "Intermission;" it has a sort of indie-punk style to it. I really like it! I cannot wait until we are finished with it. We are still in the process of recording it. I must say that this new song is one of my favourites. It goes up there with "Subjected," "Broadway," and of course my all-time favourite, "Putting Down The Amp."

Oh yes, our song, "The Situation Room," and its single will be coming out on our MySpace ( http://www.myspace.com/horridincidences ) soon, so keep on the look out. Also, we will be hopefully coming out with more of our songs on our Youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/officialHI ) channel. Right now, we have not many because of our song database being down. We will not be able to upload more until it is fixed.

Well, with that. I shall be off.

P.S. All you anime and manga fans out there. Check out AnimeBoy ( http://www.animeboy.org ) for free online viewing of anime. My favourite, "Love Hina," is on there and this other show that is new to me, "Ouran High School Host Club." The two are down right hilarious! Charming too.

See you all around and take care! :)
