Two... At once?!

Why hello there, readers! I hope you are all doing well! It has been quite awhile since Chuckie and I have written to you. We have been quite the couple of busy bees. Work and school has been taking us over. Fortunately, we have been able to grab some spare time and work on not one, but TWO new songs! Our latest singles consist of "Ocean Fish" and "Sand Castles." Both seem like they could fit into a beach theme, though when you listen to them, you'll see how they don't really. Well, how "Sand Castles" doesn't anyway. Chuckie and I are super excited about these two new songs. Our favourite is definitely "Sand Castles." It's funny because Chuckie was saying to me how she wanted to record a song with the chords that she made up. So, I started searching my lyric archives and grabbed one that seemed appealing and she just started playing and I, singing. It was amazing! A song just came together in one sitting. We recorded it just in case it was good, and, indeed it was! There is a little bit of fooling around in the beginning and in the end of the recording of "Sand Castles," but within the middle there is some seriously great stuff! Go ahead and take a listen: ( http://www.myspace.com/horridincidences/ ). "Ocean Fish" is there too! We hope you enjoy listening to them! :D

Quick Update!

Hello there, readers! Long time no see! Don, here. I hope you are all doing well. I have been quite the busy bee; Chuckie, too. However, I am happy to share with you all that we have made another song. Already it has become one of our hit singles, and it is from our new unreleased album, "H.I. Society." It is titled, "The Life Lost Within the Tides." I must say that it is one of Chuckie's and my favourites so far. It quite the beautiful song. Go on, take a listen on our MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/horridincidences/. We are currently working on more music for our fourth album, so be on the look out. Post to you later soon! Until then, take care from Chuckie and myself. :)

P.S. In case we do not post until then, we salute you veterans for your fantastic work at war so many years ago. Good day, soldiers - Remembrance Day.

Ring! Ring! Ring! You have a new call.

Hey, everyone! Don, here. I hope you are all having a fantastic day! I know I am :) So, here is the latest with Horrid Incidences:

Chuckie and I have both got blackberries now, so we can start getting together more to play music and to even talk about it since I have unlimited texting now. We are both pretty busy now, but with these new devices of ours, we will be able to do it! :D Anyway, tomorrow Chuckie and I will be working on H.I. together. We are planning to watch the anime, Love Hina, (which is a hilarious romantic comedy about this Tokyo University hopeful who ends up managing an all-girls dorm for his grandmother) in the morning, and then playing music in the afternoon. The first song that we are going to work on is Ocean Fish - the song's title may change as it is not final yet. It is a really neat song and we both quite like it. It will most definitely be one of H.I.'s top hits. It's that good haha :D Anyway, we will most likely get a few songs done tomorrow as we have all day of fun music playing! :D Also, we may start making Horrid Incidences ringtones. Chuckie and I have talked about it, and it will soon be available to Blackberry Curves! Wooh! Putting Down the Amp I think will be the first song to become a ringtone, so you Blackberry holders out there, be on the lookout for it! :)

Well, I believe that is all I have to say for now. I will update you all on Friday as to what Chuckie and I get done tomorrow. Have a great day, everyone! Take care! :D

Music, music and more music

Hey there, everyone! It's Don here again :) I hope you are all doing well. I just thought that I would let you all in on what is new with Horrid Incidences. Unfortunately, I cannot say that there has been a lot of progress lately, but I can say that there has been some. Recently - well, actually today - I have uploaded more songs to our YouTube account: http://www.youtube.com/officialhi. The conversion programs that we used before to put songs up has been down for months, but since I have had my computer redone and I have discovered a new way to do it, we will now be able to upload more and more of our songs and videos! I cannot wait to get starting on some music videos. We only have one so far, but, hopefully Chuckie and I will be able to make some more in the near future :D

Well, I best be off now. I shall post to you all later. Have a great day everyone!

Current Updates

Hey, everyone! It's Don, here. I hope you are all doing well :) It has been a few days since I last posted on here, but that is because Chuckie and I have been busy with the band. We have gotten a lot of things done recently. We currently have ten songs written and ready for recording for our third album, "H.I. Society." We have one song recorded already, but we have yet to get the rest done. Unfortunately, we have not been able to do any recording recently because the microphone that we normally use is shot, so we have to get a new one. Fortunately, I was able to track down my mic and its software for installation, so we will be getting to recording quite shortly. Also, just a little tidbit for you, there will be a special song our our fourth album that is unlike no other song on our previous albums except for one from our first album. To give you a hint, the special song I am talking about is somewhat similar to our song, "Standing in the Snow;" however, it is not similar by means of sound. :P

Well, I have got to go, I am off to possibly swim. I shall post to you all later about H.I.'s updates. Until then, check out the band "Owl City" at http://www.myspace.com/owlcity

Whatever Happened To... H.I.

Hey, everyone! Don, here. It has been quite the long time since I last posted. Sorry about that. I have been quite the busy body in the last few months. However, I am now filled with free time, so no need to worry about month-after-month-after-month-late posts.

Anyway, let's get to business :P Horrid Incidences' fourth album is coming along; however slowly, but at least it is still coming. Chuckie and I tried working yesterday, but our plans were foiled when we thought a friend was in the dumps... but then wasn't. Haha, oh gosh! We felt kind of dumb, but we ended up all having a great time together anyway.

Hopefully, Chuckie and I will get some stuff done soon, perhaps even tomorrow evening. Chuckie works until four, and then he is not busy afterward, so hopefully we will get some work done. However, don't get us wrong. We have gotten some stuff done. Well, at least I have :P I am not quite sure what music Chuckie has composed recently, but I do know what I have done. Recently, I have been writing some new songs. One of which, Chuckie denied. It is called, "High Society." That's alright, though, because he really likes the other song that I wrote (which I like better anyhow ;) ). That one is called, "Sleep's Kiss." Also, I just finished writing an emotional song titled, "Forgive Me," just before I started writing up this post. I really hope that he likes that one. I really like it. It has real substance. Something our other songs don't really have.

Anyway, don't worry, that does not mean that we will stop making our crazy-weird music :P We will still dish it out, just with more gourmet toppings, haha :P

Well, I best be off now. I shall try to get back to you all quicker now, as Chuckie and I are working on the fourth album again. So, until then, have a great day and take care! :D
